Angelica Panganiban shared why she felt compelled to join the project.
"Noong nabasa ko 'yung script, para siyang calling. Na parang kung sa akin ito ibinibigay, kailangan ko itong panindigan," she says.
She adds that the role allowed her to speak for women and anyone fighting for their personal freedom.
For Zanjoe Marudo, the project offered an unexpected twist.
"Nung umpisa siyempre parang annulment, madami ng storya na napanuod na hiwalayan," he explains.
"Pero nung nalaman ko itong istorya, hindi kami mag-asawa ni Angelica, na-excite ako kasi parang bago."
