“Months later (after he proposed to me), he realized na hindi pala siya ready,” she shared.
According to Gray, the sudden change deeply hurt her and left her feeling blindsided.
“That was very hurtful for me,” she said.
“I was blindsided at the time and I really tried to make it work.”
Despite the pain, the beauty queen explained that she was willing to adjust and understand Milby because of her feelings for him.
“I was willing to adjust ‘cause siguro when you love someone, you’re willing to understand them,” she stated.
However, Gray eventually reached a point of clarity about what the uncertainty meant for their future.
“Pero it got to that point na at that age and after we’ve been through, kung ‘di ka pa rin sure, I think that’s an answer,” she concluded.
Her candid reflection offered viewers a glimpse into the emotional reality behind a highly publicized relationship, highlighting themes of love, growth, and self-realization after heartbreak.
