Speaking during an event covered by "Kapuso Showbiz News," Jaime emphasized that his bond with his father remains unchanged.
“‘Yung tatay ko kasi, at the end of the day, he's my dad,” says Jaime.
He shared that he has personally witnessed the struggles his father is going through and asked for understanding from the public.

According to Jaime, Anjo continues to fulfill his responsibilities both at work and at home, which allows him to see the situation from a personal perspective.
“Siyempre may trabaho siya at sa bahay, tatay ko talaga siya. So nakikita ko talaga ‘yung pinagdadaanan niya. Alam ko naman, pasensiya po sa lahat, may nagagawa siyang mali. At naiintindihan ko naman na gano'n talaga,” he explains.
Despite the controversy, Jaime made it clear that his affection for his father remains firm.
“Tatay ko siya, mahal ko siya,” he says.
Jaime is the son of Anjo Yllana with his former wife, Jacqui Manzano. In a separate report by GMANetwork.com, Jaime further described his relationship with his father as close and open, noting that they often treat each other more like friends than just parent and child.
