According to Bea, the name was not chosen simply because it sounded nice, but because it symbolized survival, strength, and faith during a time when she felt lost. She admitted that there were days when she could not eat and moments when she would cry alone in the shower, questioning why she was experiencing so much pain.

Bea further explained that naming her daughter Hope was a decision she made together with her best friend, believing that her child would be their light whenever life became too heavy.

She shared that her daughter gave her the strength to continue moving forward, even when everything felt uncertain. While she acknowledged that some people might see the story as shallow, Bea stood by the emotional weight behind the name and what it represented during her hardest days.

The actress also hinted at lingering pain caused by someone from her past, expressing her frustration over what she described as self-centered actions.

Without naming anyone, she shared that it bothered her that someone who acted like an “ulirang ama” had her daughter’s name tattooed, especially when there were people in her life, like her uncle, who genuinely stepped up and supported her when she needed it most.

"If you watched my Toni Talks interview, you would know that Blythe was the one who named my daughter Hope because she knew I was at my rock bottom. for days, I could not eat, and I would cry in the shower lol even my yaya witnessed this while I questioned what I did to deserve so much pain.

her name is not something I chose just because it sounded pretty or aesthetic. I named my daughter Hope because my best friend and I knew she would be our hope when times got tough, and that she would give us the strength to keep going despite all the hardships in our lives. baka it might seem mababaw sainyo, but I think it just shows how some men can be so self centered, doing things just so they can say they are the father, especially when you were the reason I was at rock bottom in the first place.
kaya ako naiinis and bothered that someone who acts like an “ulirang ama” had the name of my daughter tattooed. my tito was supposed to tattoo Hope’s name on his arm. He was one of the many people in my life who stepped up because some people chose not to."
