One of the letters was written as far back as August 3, 1988—over thirty-seven years ago. The note contains a short but deeply loving message from Nora to her daughter: Dearest Baby, Cheer up! Right this instant, someone somewhere is thinking of you.”

Aside from the message itself, Nora’s exceptionally beautiful handwriting did not escape the keen eyes of netizens. Many admired the "perfect" and organized penmanship of the Superstar, with some even comparing it to calligraphy because of the elegance of the strokes and lines. According to one netizen, such handwriting is a reflection of Nora being an extraordinary mother.

Due to the high sentimental and historical value of the letters, one netizen suggested that Lotlot bring the items to Boss Toyo, the famous content creator known for buying memorabilia from celebrities. Lotlot immediately shut down the idea, replying: “it’s not for sale and will never be.”

It can be recalled that in October 2024, Nora and Boss Toyo had a chance to meet. This was not to sell any belongings, but for Nora to sign Nora Aunor dolls that Boss Toyo had purchased from fans. During that meeting, Boss Toyo donated PHP 250,000 to help with the relief goods Nora was distributing in Bicol. At the time, the Superstar emphasized that she went there as an ordinary person who simply wanted to help her fellow citizens.

Nora Aunor passed away leaving a legacy that is difficult to match in the film and music industry. As a National Artist, every item or letter she left behind is considered a national treasure, especially for her family.

Amidst these remembrances, Lotlot remains steadfast in protecting her mother's memory. This is not the first time the actress has become emotional regarding people close to her heart who have passed or regarding significant family milestones.
