Nadine Lustre gets candid: says no to working with exes and admits being cheated on

In a revealing interview with MJ Felipe on Cinema One’s The B Side, Nadine Lustre opened up about the current state of her life, her career goals, and some painful truths about her past. The actress described her life story as being in the middle of a "rollercoaster" that is still heading toward the "exciting part."

One of the highlights of the talk was Nadine's blooming relationship with Christophe Bariou, her boyfriend.

When asked about Chris being named Man of The Moment by VMAN, Nadine couldn't hide her joy. "Of course! Always! Diba nga, proud plus one ako," she said, sharing how she reassured Chris when he doubted if he was worthy of the recognition.

Turning to her professional life, Nadine shared her admiration for fellow actor Pepe Herrera, admitting she would like to work with him someday in the future.

"Si Kuya Pepe, sobrang fan niya ako, as in," she admitted, citing his film Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap as one of her local favorites.

However, the conversation took a sharper turn when the topic of past relationships came up in the video.

Netizens were quick to notice her directness when MJ asked if she would be willing to work with an ex-partner again. Without hesitation, Nadine answered, "No."

The honesty continued when the final question was asked by MJ with regards to being cheated on.

"Have you ever been cheated on?" he asked to which Nadine simply replied, "Yes," confirming a detail about her personal history that she had never addressed so bluntly before.

Nadine Lustre is a multi-talented Filipino celebrity known as both an actress and a singer. Born Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre on October 31, 1993, she started in showbiz at a young age. Her big break came in 2014 when she played Eya Rodriguez in the film adaptation of the Wattpad novel Diary ng Panget. Nadine mentioned that she tried her best to stay out of sight because she didn't want to get picked on by the comedian. Despite that fear, she says it was a huge honor to work with someone like Vice so early in her career.

Meanwhile, back in September, Nadine Lustre's partner clarified that they had nothing to do with the reef destruction issue in Tuason, Siargao. According to Christophe Bariou, their restaurant, Ver De Siargao, was unfairly targeted because of a business partner allegedly involved in the project. Environmental advocates had criticized the reported use of a backhoe in the reef area for a luxury villa project.
