Maris Racal opened up about the unique process she used to study her script for the award-winning film "Sunshine" giving fans a closer look at the amount of work she poured into her performance.

The actress revealed her method in a post celebrating the movie’s strong reception on Netflix.
“Because we're number 1 on Netflix, here's a little peek of the script SUNSHINE ☀️,” she wrote on Instagram.
She added that she remains grateful for the opportunity.

“I still can’t believe this role found its way to me,” she says.
Maris also expressed appreciation for the team.
“Forever grateful to my director @tonetjadaone and the entire @project8projects family for trusting me with Sunshine,” she adds.
In the video she uploaded, Maris showed pages of her script covered with masking tape labels.
"I've never done this before pero ishe-share ko na 'yung script ko,” she says.
She explained the careful work behind it.
“Naglalagay ako ng mga tape sa every page,” she adds.
The actress detailed how she manually wrote each sequence number on the tape, saying the process took hours.
She later discussed why this approach works for her. “I like doing that kasi I get to really memorize or know the script by heart,” she explains.
Maris also gave a glimpse of her early notes in developing her character.
“Ito 'yung mga first few notes ko dito kay Sunshine,” she says.
She revealed what she understood about the character’s emotional state.
