According to the actress, the key is being fully present. “I get a lot of questions on how I handle two young kids while traveling to other countries and no yaya. Simple, full on mama mode ako,” she wrote.

For Kylie, safety is always the priority. She explained how she constantly thinks ahead, makes sure her boys never go hungry despite long walks, teaches them cleanliness, and stays prepared “24/7 in how to handle a tantrum, or two at the same time.”

Managing her boys’ energy became another challenge. She shared that the “secret really is to give them their yes moments,” allowing them to run, play, and freely express their emotions.

But in crowded or high-risk places, rules are non-negotiable. Whether holding her arm or an “anti lost rope,” the kids must always stay connected to her.

Kylie also praised her eldest, saying, “I told him, ‘Ikaw kuya ha, so you have to help me with your brother.’ And he did.”

Alas pushed his own maleta, carried bags, watched over his brother, and earned fun rewards, including roller-coaster rides.

For Kylie, appreciation is essential: “Parent child relationships work better when there is visible appreciation for each other’s efforts.”

As for little Axl, Kylie said he did his part by following instructions—especially after one conversation about the consequences of getting lost, a lesson she believes is necessary for young travelers to understand early on.
