Yasmien shared her exhilarating adventure with her followers, humorously captioning her experience as "Pilot for a day? Checked that off the list 😎."

The actress received personalized instruction from an experienced hand, identified as Captain David, who guided her through the essential commands of takeoff.

"Captain David taught me the basics — thrust set, rotate, climb ☺️ while my brain was low-key buffering the whole time 😂," Kurdi admitted, reflecting the intense focus and technical difficulty involved in mastering the basic steps of flying a commercial jet.

The experience took place at Sputnik Aviation, a facility known for its highly realistic flight simulations.

The technology was so immersive that it genuinely blurred the line between virtual and reality for the actress.

The actress captured this feeling of awe and slight panic, exclaiming, "The A320 simulator at Sputnik Aviation feels too real, like 'wait, bakit parang totoong flight ito?!' (wait, why does this feel like a real flight)?!"

The climax of her brief stint as a pilot came during the landing attempt—a task notoriously demanding even for seasoned aviators.

Yasmien’s immersion into the world of aviation is particularly poignant given her personal life. She has often shared glimpses of her life as a pilot’s wife, acknowledging the strenuous hours, sacrifices, and immense responsibility that her husband, Rey Soldevilla Jr., undertakes daily.
