Kapuso actress and singer Rita Daniela took to social media to share her thoughts after the court found Archie Alemania guilty of committing acts of lasciviousness in the case she filed against him.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Daniela emphasized that the justice she received extends beyond her personal battle.
“The justice I received is not just for me,” she wrote.
“This is also for all the women and men who were abused, harassed, and molested that didn’t have the voice and platform to fight for their own rights.”

Daniela expressed gratitude and solidarity with survivors, declaring that the ruling represents a collective victory.
“So, I am celebrating this justice with you,” she said. “Today, we all won. We won.”
The actress filed the complaint in "October 2024," accusing Alemania of "forcibly kissing, hugging, and touching her body" without her consent. Alemania, however, claimed that he had only kissed Daniela and denied the rest of her allegations.
In its decision, the court sided with Daniela, stating that her account was both consistent and convincing.
“Her testimony that she has been kissed, hugged, and touched—against her will—even if not asked directly throughout her testimony, appeared vivid when she was confronted about questions…” the ruling said.
The court further noted that Alemania’s own statements and actions supported Daniela’s claims.
His “anger, the text message, the rejected call, and the request for him to leave” were cited as “persuasive pieces of connected evidence” that confirmed he had committed the acts.
The decision was met with widespread support for Daniela, with many praising her courage in standing up for justice.
Rita Daniela, born Rita Daniela De Guzman Iringan, is a Filipina singer, actress, and television host. She started her career after being the first grand champion of QTV’s PopStar Kids and became more popular after portraying Aubrey Palomares in My Special Tatay.
