Social media personality Jeraldine Blackman recently posted an emotional video on her Instagram account, visibly breaking down in tears as she addressed the intense and ongoing online bashing she has received from netizens following her separation from her husband Joshua Blackman.

In the raw and vulnerable video, Jeraldine passionately defended her actions, emphasized her commitment to her children, and called out the widespread misinformation being spread online.
Jeraldine started by expressing her confusion and pain over the public scrutiny, particularly since she has remained silent about the details of the split, saying she has never talked about it online.
"I do not understand why there’s a lot of people bashing and hating and spreading negativity on me," she cried. "I have never disclosed any information about why my marriage ended with Joshua. I have never told anyone in any of my social media platforms what happened," she said in the clip.

She pointed out that despite her silence, people, including "a lot of content creators," are "spreading misinformation." She stressed that her priority has always been to protect her family's image.
"All I've done is to protect Joshua and my kids' image online," she asserted. "All I've done is to work hard for this family... I've worked so hard to pay off our house, to send my kids to school, to get everything they wanted and to support my family back in the Philippines," she told her followers.
She also addressed being told to give up The Blackman Family page, clarifying that she created the page herself and stated that "Blackman is a surname that I got from my marriage with Joshua."
Jeraldine expressed frustration that despite her efforts and her decision to stay quiet to protect her family, the judgment continues. She sadly noted that most of the hateful comments are coming from other women, including body-shaming remarks. Toward the end of the video, she promised a change in approach due to the toll the attacks have taken on her and her mental well-being. "I'm going to take legal steps from now on because it is not healthy for me and my kids," she said.
She concluded by thanking those who have supported her: "Thank you for seeing the real me."
Amidst the controversy, fellow celebrity and friend Melai Cantiveros offered a strong message of solidarity in the comments section, urging the public to show compassion for the family's struggles.
Melai wrote: "Let's spread love not chismis and hate please. The Blackman Family needs our support and love, not issue, we cannot gain money in spreading negativity to the beautiful family please. They are struggling, maawa tayo, instead let's pray for them. This is their real life, not entertainment."
Jeraldine soon replied to Melai's comment with equal warmth, saying: "Love you mamsh, you have always been so positive!" Melai also followed up with: "Hugs tight, momsh, we love your family." Melai's public defense offered a moment of comfort and support during a difficult time for Jeraldine.
