Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, shared a touching tribute to the late singer on his first death anniversary.

On TikTok, she posted a video taken during their final day together in Argentina.

The clip showed them laughing, and she wrote that it was taken during the last hour and last day they shared in this lifetime, adding that she would miss him for the rest of her life.

Later that day, Cassidy uploaded a black-and-white photo on Instagram of Payne kissing her forehead while lying in bed.

In the caption, she said it had been a full year without him and that she would forever hate goodbyes.

She ended her post by saying she missed him deeply. Fans filled the comments section with comforting words, with some saying he was still watching over her.

A few days earlier, Cassidy addressed backlash after joining an influencer trip on Payne’s death anniversary.

She explained that she had accepted a two-night brand invitation and said staying busy helped her stay positive.

Cassidy also mentioned that doing nothing only worsened her mental health, so keeping active was her way of coping with grief.

Payne and Cassidy began dating in October 2022 and made their first public appearance together two months later at the British Fashion Awards in London.

The former One Direction member died on October 16, 2024, after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

Authorities confirmed that he passed away from multiple traumatic injuries and severe internal bleeding.
