Jericho Rosales on exes Heart and Kim: “They’re my friends—life’s too short for enemies”

Jericho Rosales opened up about his friendly relationship with his former partners, Kim Jones and Heart Evangelista, during his guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday.

“Kim is my friend. She's one of my very, very great friends. Heart is my friend,” Rosales shared when asked about his exes.

He added that he always tries to maintain good relations with people, saying, “Every time I see whoever's around and in Manila, of course, I try to make friends with everyone. Life is too short to have enemies.”

The actor also talked about his current relationship with Janine Gutierrez, clarifying that there’s no room for jealousy between them, whether at work or regarding their past relationships.

“I'm so lucky because she's also a great actress, and we both know and understand our jobs. Yeah, wala. We don't like that energy,” he said.

Rosales and Evangelista were together for three years before parting ways in 2008. Heart is now married to Senator Chiz Escudero. Meanwhile, Jericho and Kim Jones were married for nearly a decade before confirming their separation last year.

Currently, Rosales stars as former President Manuel L. Quezon in the historical biopic Quezon, alongside a powerhouse cast including Benjamin Alves, Mon Confiado, Therese Malvar, JC Santos, and Karylle.

"Quezon" is set to premiere in cinemas nationwide starting October 15.

Janine Gutierrez, on the other hand, is a celebrated Filipina actress, television host, and model. Hailing from a prominent showbiz lineage, she is the daughter of Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon. Her acting career commenced in 2011 with GMA Network, where she gained recognition through various television roles. In 2021, she transitioned to ABS-CBN, starring in notable series such as Marry Me, Marry You and Dirty Linen. Jericho Rosales has recently confirmed his romantic relationship with Janine, with the actor making a public declaration during his tribute to the late singer and Janine’s grandma, Pilita.
