Mark Herras ventures into business, proudly becomes franchise owner of Farmer’s Meat Shop

Actor Mark Herras has stepped into a new chapter of his life — entrepreneurship.

The former "StarStruck" winner is now a proud franchise owner of Farmer’s Meat Shop, a business he personally invested in and manages with dedication.

“Meron po akong isang pwesto ng Farmer’s Meat Shop... Ako po ay nag-invest ng amount na ganito at naging partner po ako ng Farmer’s Meat Shop,” Mark revealed in an interview with Karen Davila on DTI: Asenso Pilipino.

He admitted that running a business was not easy at first, but his determination pushed him to learn the ropes.

“As in inaalam ko pa kung papano bang lalapit sa mga tao, ‘yung mga presyo, iba-iba ‘yung presyo niyan so talagang inaalam ko every detail… kailangan aralin ko talaga like from basic,” he shared.

Mark said his business holds special importance because it allows him to provide for his loved ones.

“Ito kasi parang kaya siya mahalaga sa akin kasi ito ‘yung bubuhay sa pamilya ko… hindi ako pwedeng magpahinga o mag-relax kasi may binubuhay akong pamilya,” he explained.

Reflecting on his showbiz career, Mark said he has no regrets even if his fame has fluctuated over the years.

“Ako kasi I am very thankful and contented ako dun sa narating ko… Hindi ko naman hinahangad na habang-buhay akong nasa taas,” he said, expressing gratitude to GMA for the opportunities he received.

Mark concluded by saying he remains happy and fulfilled, both as a performer and now as a businessman.
