The actress, who spent another year in Paris, described her time there as feeling like a "six-month crash course in fashion, art, and creativity." While she has met several incredible people, she also admitted to sometimes finding herself "retreating into my shell," which others related to.

Sitting with her children, Zion and Kai, she contemplated her feelings, choosing not to delve "too deep" into the sadness but emphasizing a strong sense of gratitude. This thankfulness, she noted, wasn't about comparison or reflection on others but was an acknowledgement of her blessings.

The reflection led Sarah to an insight about herself: "I've realized I notice too much and feel too much." She described this habit of reflection as both "a gift and a curse." She embraced her journey of growth, acknowledging that with it comes loss—the shedding of "fragments of who I was, pieces I've outgrown." While she grieves these losses, she feels "proud, yet open. Still learning."

In her online post, she then turned her focus to the concept of purpose, which she believes helps her drown out "the painful, heartbreaking, shattering things happening in my mother country."

"For me, that purpose has always been rooted in helping. Not to be a hero, not to make myself feel better, but because when I had nothing, when I couldn’t find the words, someone helped me," she wrote. This experience drives her desire to pass on the reminder that "helping, in whatever way we can, and choosing kindness, still matters," the actress had written in her broadcast channel.
