In an exclusive interview with the Philippine STAR, Dawn spoke candidly about what she looks for in a potential partner, stressing that substance matters far more than surface-level attraction.

"Syempre memorable pag yung first day pa lang tapos mare-realize mo, ang pogi nga ng ka-date mo, pero bobo. Ayoko non! Ayoko ng walang sustansya kausap. Importante sa akin may laman ang utak. Importante sa akin may direksyon ang buhay. Importante sa akin masipag. Basic naman ata yan. Dapat naman talaga gano'n tayo para may ambisyon sa buhay," said Dawn Chang.

She believes that good looks fade, but drive, intelligence, and ambition remain key to building a lasting partnership.

With “Love on the Clock,” Dawn aims to guide participants in exploring real connections under pressure and time constraints, bringing her own perspective on modern dating into the mix.

The new dating show is expected to blend humor, heart, and honesty — much like Dawn herself — as it captures the unpredictable nature of love in today’s fast-paced world.

Dawn Chang is a Filipina dancer, actress, singer, and entrepreneur. She became known as one of the housemates in the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: 737” in 2015, where she showcased her talent in dancing. Chie Filomeno reacted to Dawn Chang's recent interview involving a blind item about a past fight. Dawn claimed in the interview that the person in question grabbed her position during a dance rehearsal and even pulled her hair. Following the interview, Chie denied Dawn’s accusations, saying the alleged rehearsal incident never happened and 'It's Showtime' staff backed her up. Moreover, Chie accused Dawn of spreading lies and called her out publicly on social media.

Dawn Chang ignored Chie Filomeno’s remarks about their past issue on “It’s Showtime.” The tension started after Dawn’s interview, where she admitted to having a conflict with an artist whose initials matched those of Cristy Fermin. Chie strongly denied Dawn’s statements and called them lies in a post on X. Instead of responding to the accusations, Dawn simply made a post about her eyelash extensions and chose not to engage with Chie’s comments.
