Alongside the image, Doug wrote a heartfelt caption where he poured out his thoughts on how corruption continues to rob Filipinos of a brighter tomorrow, "As a father, I look at my children, and I see the future I want to protect. As a citizen of this country, I know their future is being stolen."

Doug painted a vivid picture of how stolen public funds translate into real-life suffering, "When taxpayer money vanishes into the pockets of the corrupt, it's not a mere statistic — it's a home that's swept away by floods, it's a classroom that a child won't learn in, a road or bridge that a family will not safely drive on, and opportunities that are taken away from their generation."

He also said that this fight transcends politics, saying it is a moral issue that concerns the nation's core values. If we allow this cycle of no accountability and no justice to continue, our children and their children will inherit a broken system," he wrote in his now-viral post online.

Doug further urged Filipinos to be more vigilant and discerning when it comes to governance. "We need to demand change from our leaders, and we need to choose them wisely.
