Sofia Vergara, who had given Sanchez her golden buzzer, was overflowing with pride after the performance.
“I’m so proud that you are my golden buzzer. You get better and better… It’s perfection. Your voice, your little belly, your story. I mean, there’s nothing I would change about you… So amazing. I’m so happy for you,” Vergara said.
Fellow judges Howie Mandel and Mel B likewise praised her, describing her vocals as “magical.”

Mandel added, “First of all, you look beautiful tonight. And, secondly you sound beautiful… with the right song choice, you could take this all the way and be the million-dollar winner.”
Mel B echoed the admiration, noting, “You have a range that’s very similar to Mariah Carey, you can go up, down, and around the corners, and you always land on point… it affected you and that’s the most important thing.”
Simon Cowell, known for his critical eye, agreed that the performance was special.
“I loved the song choice actually… For me, it showed a different part of your voice. That’s what I call a kind of a moment performance… you’ve never given up over all these years, and you could have done, but you haven’t. Timing is everything.”
Amid the competition, Sanchez also shared her joy about experiencing two milestones simultaneously.
“I keep telling my baby, I’m like, ‘Please just stay in there another week. God willing, I make it to the finals.’ You know I’m just so blessed and grateful,” she said.
Aside from Jessica Sanchez, another Filipino singer who made waves in the international competition scene was Sofronio Vasquez, a Filipino singer who became famous after being declared the champion of The Voice Season 26 in America. Prior to this, he participated in local singing competitions in the Philippines such as Tawag ng Tanghalan and The Voice Philippines.
In a previous report by KAMI, Sofronio Vasquez’s win at the Season 26 of The Voice is also the first win of Michael Bublé as a coach of the singing contest. Sofronio bested four other finalists from Team Bublé, Team Reba, Team Snoop, and Team Gwen. He grew up in the Philippines but transferred to the United States in the year 2022 to try to bring realization to his dream in music. In a statement, Sofronio gave tribute to his late father, whom he said taught him to love music.
In another viral news related to Sofronio Vasquez, he reposted a clip from Tawag ng Tanghalan, at the time that he received advice from Rey Valera. Actress and award-winning singer Lea Salonga also congratulated Sofronio. It can be recalled that Sofronio did not receive any chair turn when he joined The Voice Philippines. He also did not make it as a champ in Tawag ng Tanghalan.
