Karen began the conversation by acknowledging the impact of their partnership: "When you look back at the JaDine phenomenon, it is the model for many love teams," prompting James to reflect on his journey with Nadine.

James responded with deep appreciation for what JaDine represented in his life and career. "Yeah, it was... like you said, a phenomenon. It kind of reached a climax, it was definitely something special, even globally? I don't think there's a phenomenon like this? It gave me so much and I'm so grateful to the fans, to Nadine, to the love team, and to everyone who gave us projects," he shared.

Later in the interview, when Karen asked if he and Nadine still interact when they meet in public — "Have you and Nadine ever seen each other in public? Do you say, 'Hi, there?' May ganun ba?" —James candidly replied: "Yeah, yes, at some events. I've seen her a few times, and we're civil, there's no problem certainly with me. You know, I wish her all the best. She seems very happy."

His words reflected maturity and mutual respect, emphasizing that while their romantic chapter has ended, the legacy of JaDine and their individual growth in life and in their career continues.
