Known for her dedication to her craft, Bela revealed that her body had 'given up' on her following a nonstop streak of hard work, prompting concern and support from fans across social media.

In a series of Instagram stories, Bela gave her followers a glimpse into how her packed schedule had taken a toll on her well-being. She first posted a photo with a humorous yet telling caption about what her vitamins could tell her: "Berocca really said: I can only do so much, girly pop."

Meanwhile, in another Instagram story, she shared a shot of her feet in socks, writing, "Vicks + Socks all day today." However, it was a selfie that drew the most attention from her supporters — a visibly tired and sick Bela with a fever patch on her forehead, looking straight at the camera.

It's worth noting that Bela had recently received praise for her performance as Nadia in Maalaala Mo Kaya's 'Trafficked Story,' where she once again showcased her dramatic range and prowess.

In addition, the actress has been working on the much-anticipated sequel 100 Awit Para Kay Stella, reuniting with JC Santos years after the success of their 2017 hit 100 Tula Para Kay Stella.

Bela Padilla is a Filipino actress, screenwriter, and director known for her versatility and depth in acting. Some of her most notable performances include lead roles in films such as 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, Meet Me in St. Gallen, and On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets. In her personal life, she is also the niece of action star Robin Padilla. Over the years, Bela transitioned from supporting roles to lead roles, solidifying her place in Philippine cinema. Beyond acting and writing, she has also ventured into directing and producing, further proving her creative range in show business.

As previously reported by KAMI, Bela Padilla discussed the "meanest comment" she has received about her eyes, asserting that she views this unique trait as her "trademark." She reaffirmed her lifelong commitment to acting over business, emphasizing it as the field she has dedicated herself to and is not eager to start over in a new career.

Meanwhile, back in March, Bela Padilla publicly endorsed a proposed legislation. On Instagram, Bela reposted Sen. Risa Hontiveros' video about the 'Sandy's Act.' In her post, Bela expressed her hopes about passing the bill since it will help the people. She also highlighted concerns over the increase in box jellyfish sightings in the country.
