According to the caption, he personally recorded the video last April 1.

He also mentioned that the only person who has a copy of the video is his ex-girlfriend.

In the same post, he expressed his confusion over why his ex-girlfriend continues to post old videos of him even though they broke up on May 08.

Alongside his video, he wrote:

"This selfie video was taken by myself last April 1 habang inaatake ako ng anxiety attack sa bahay. Ang kaisa-isang tao na may copy nito is my ex-girlfriend. I don't know kung ano yung motive niya para i-release ito pero napansin ko kasi na palagi niyang ina-upload yung mga old videos namin kahit break na kami last May 8 pa.

Para sa mga friends kong nag-alala after seeing this, don't worry, okay na okay po ako ngayon. Lumang video pa po ito. My life is way better after the break up. Naibalik ko yung peace of mind sa aking buhay. Naging stable ulit yung mental health ko na nadurog for 2 months. Thank you Lord.

I just pray that my ex will find the same peace with her life at huwag na sana niya akong gamitin para sumikat o para ma-promote yung business niya. I understand that she needs clout para makabenta. Nauunawaan ko yun. Open-minded ako. Kaya nga wala siyang narinig sa akin for the last one month. Pero sana huwag naman dumating sa punto na mag-iimbento na siya ng kung anu-anong kwento at gawan ako ng pangit na narrative sa publiko. Unfair naman yun sa akin kasi naging mabuti naman ako sa kanya.
