During the episode aired on Monday, Bianca emotionally presented an old photograph of herself with her mother, explaining the profound significance of her mother’s passion for the show.

This touching revelation underscored the deep connection her late mother had with “Pinoy Big Brother,” making Bianca’s guesting a poignant tribute.

The Kapuso actress further revealed that the audio-video presentation featuring her mother’s memories utilized the original “Pinoy Ako” theme song by Orange & Lemons, a detail that resonated strongly with long-time viewers of the show.

“Kaya po excited ako dahil ang experience po na ito ay para sa kanya. Sobrang maraming salamat po,” she conveyed, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to honor her mother through this experience.

Kuya, in turn, acknowledged the weight of her dedication, stating, “Maraming salamat dahil naging bahagi ako at ang bahay ko kahit paano sa buhay ng nanay mo. Alam ko kung gaano ka-espesyal ang sandaling ito.”

Bianca’s mother, May Soler Umali, succumbed to mammary cancer in 2005 when Bianca was only five years old.

Her father, Jose Vicente Umali, also passed away in 2010 due to a heart attack, leaving Bianca to be raised by her paternal grandmother, Victorina.

Despite the early loss, Bianca has consistently honored her parents’ memory, including actively engaging in mammary cancer awareness campaigns.

She has notably partnered with The Medical City to launch “Babae Sa Babae,” a three-part video series aimed at fostering discussions about mammary cancer and providing access to screening programs.

Her appearance on “Pinoy Big Brother” as a celebrity house guest was a significant event for both Kapuso and Kapamilya viewers, marking a notable collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN.

Before Bianca, other prominent Kapuso personalities such as David Licauco and Gabbi Garcia also graced the PBB house.

The revelation of her mother’s battle with cancer and her dedication to the show added another layer of depth to her PBB journey, resonating with a wide audience.

Online reactions to Bianca’s confession were varied, reflecting both empathy and general fan excitement.

Comments on social media platforms ranged from expressions of admiration for her emotional strength to simple greetings and welcoming messages. Some users acknowledged her reserved public persona, noting observations like “siya yung madalas masabihan na masungit or snob ng mga artista kasi tahimik lang siya.. pero kapag nakilala raw nang maayos at inapproack, sobrang bait daw” (she's often labeled as grumpy or snobbish by artists because she's quiet.. but when you get to know her properly and approach her, she's very kind).

Other comments focused on her physical resemblance to other actresses or simply offered words of encouragement.

The overall sentiment underscored the public's engagement with her personal narrative and her presence on the popular reality show.

“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” continues to air new episodes, showcasing various celebrity house guests and their journeys.
