Amid swirling online speculations, Julian addressed the public directly through a heartfelt Facebook post, where he also shared a photo of himself with visible bruising on his left eye.
According to Julian, contrary to rumors, the incident was not a mutual fight but an "unprovoked attack." He detailed that he and Jelo were merely heading home after a calm evening when they were unexpectedly assaulted.
"Jelo and I were already walking away from a peaceful night, heading home, when one of them walked up, said a few words and threw the first punch," he wrote.

He emphasized that the situation quickly escalated into something more serious, claiming it was a group attack rather than a simple confrontation.
He also criticized the tendency of people online to jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.
"This wasn't some bar fight. We weren't looking for trouble and we sure as hell didn't start any," he stated, pointing out how easily narratives are twisted to fit biases.
Julian expressed gratitude to those who reached out to support him, while offering a reminder about empathy and truth.
"It's easier to hate than to ask what really happened... make sure you know the truth because what you say says more about you than it ever will about me," he concluded, noting that he is now focusing on rest and recovery.
Through his post, Julian urged the public to approach stories with understanding rather than judgment.

Jose Pimentel Ejercito Jr, more popularly known as Jinggoy Estrada, is a politician, actor, and producer. He served as Vice Mayor of San Juan in 1988 and is currently serving as a senator in the 19th Congress of the Philippines. He is the son of former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada.
Meanwhile in a previous report, Sen. Jinggoy was accused of bullying by Pia Gil, a San Juan City Hall employee. Gil, who is an officer under the Office of The Mayor, was the woman in the now-viral video. According to Pia, the senator accused her of blocking his staff from entering the center. It is worth noting that the senator had already addressed the video in a statement.
Senator Jinggoy Estrada clarified the social media video showing him distributing aid to fire victims in San Juan City. Estrada stated that his representatives weren't allowed to announce the upcoming aid distribution, forcing him to speak directly to the residents. Estrada revealed he confronted a local San Juan official, feeling that attempts were being made to portray him as misusing his Senate position. Estrada declared the spread of the TikTok video was politically motivated and challenged those behind it to explain their actions.
