Cassandra Ynares, daughter of Antipolo Mayor Jun Ynares and former mayor Andrea Ynares, has addressed recent speculations about her being romantically involved with Bimby Aquino, the son of Kris Aquino.

In a report by Latest Chika, Cassandra had just wrapped up her appearance in the Maytime Antipolo Festival parade on Saturday, May 17, when she was asked about the circulating rumors.

She was quick to set the record straight, emphasizing the long-standing friendship she shares with Bimby.

“We’re just really close and it’s so nice to have a friend in that industry as well,” she explained.

“We haven’t really talked about. Like, nothing happened. We’re still friends and that’s how we treat each other.”

Cassandra also spoke about a recent visit to Kris Aquino, who apparently had kind words for her.

“Very grateful po that Tita Kris likes me like that,” she shared.

“It’s really an honor that she said so much about me. I don’t know what to say except I’m really flattered.”

When asked directly if she was the girl Kris once referred to as her “favorite” for Bimby, Cassandra responded playfully, “Puwede ba, secret na lang?”

She also encouraged people not to take everything they read online at face value.

“You know, what you see, don’t always believe. Don’t believe what you see online.”

“I mean, like as a friend, obviously, you enjoy a friend’s company and, yeah, it’s nice to have him around. He’s a good friend,” she added.

Kris Aquino is a prominent Filipino television presenter, actress, and producer. She is the youngest daughter of the late Senator Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon Aquino, and the sister of former President Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III.
