Recently, singer Rhaila Tomakin finally broke her silence about her connection with Kobe following his controversial breakup with Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara earlier this year.

In a video shared by @abscbnnews on Instagram, Rhaila addressed the swirling rumors and provided some much-needed context, one that has since gone viral among netizens online.

"To my knowledge, before Bali, they were already long broken up. That's to my knowledge," Rhaila said, referring to Kobe and Kyline's much-discussed relationship timeline that went viral before.

Eventually, during the candid interview, Rhaila was asked if there's a chance she'd entertain a romantic relationship with Kobe too, "I don't think you should ever say no, like to anything. If it's God's will, then it's God's will. But for me, personally, I just wanna focus on my career, I'm about to start schooling, I'm very business-minded. I just want to delve into that world of working."

As the questions continued for the Filipina singer, Rhaila also confirmed that she and Kobe are simply "just friends," even adding playfully, "Absolutely! I'm single! Single and ready to mingle!"

Her statements quickly went viral, stirring more discussions among netizens on social media.

Kobe gained attention for his basketball skills, leading him to play basketball for the Cathedral High School in Los Angeles.
