On his Facebook account on Wednesday, May 7, the businessman and influencer greeted everyone except the said BINI members.
“Good night po sa lahat except kay Bini Stacey, Bini Jhoanna & Bini Colet,” the social media star cryptically wrote.
The so-called Pambansang Marites shared the post amid the three’s controversy after an eight-second video, where Ethan David and Shawn Castro of all-male group GAT could be spotted, went viral. The P-pop stars were accused of tolerating “groomíng” due to the now-viral video.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, May 8, BINI released a statement addressing the issue.
“We know that the past couple of days have been triggering and disappointing for all of you. Sincerely, we understand where all of those feelings are coming from.
The video shows a private moment of us with friends. We definitely did not intend to hurt anyone in the process. We offer no excuse for our actions, reactions, and choice of words. We take full accountability.
Nagkamali kami.
We deeply regret our mistake and sincerely apologize to our Blooms, friends, families, and the general public.
We humbly ask for a chance to reflect on and learn from our mistakes and continue to work on becoming better versions of ourselves.
Maraming salamat po sa inyong malasakit, suporta, at pang-unawa.”
The statement then prompted Xian to post: "Kapag sinawsawan ko yung isang issue eh 'matic biglang puputok. Lalaki ng husto. Hindi na pwede dedmahin. Mapapa-official statement ka talaga."
BINI is an all-girl Pinoy pop group formed by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. Their members consist of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. In November of 2020, BINI released their pre-debut single, “Da Coconut Nut.” Known for their catchy tracks like “Pantropiko,” “Salamin Salamin,” and “Karera,” the group has garnered a significant fanbase both locally and internationally.
BINI’s Jhoanna Robles and Gwen Apuli graduated from Grade 12 at the Japan-Philippines Institute of Technology, earning praise online. Fans admired their dedication to education despite their busy schedules as members of the Nation’s Girl Group. Fellow BINI members Stacey and Sheena also study at the same school, while Maloi and Colet are now in college in Eastwood. Jhoanna and Gwen’s graduation came just before BINI’s Send-Off Party for their BINIverse World Tour, starting May 18 in Dubai.
Earlier, BINI’s Mikha Lim took to social media to respond to criticism about her talking in English. She then addressed a netizen’s comment questioning her Tagalog fluency on social media. The member of the popular P-Pop group also shared her linguistic background as a Cebu native and preference for clear communication. BINI Mikha then used the opportunity to promote understanding and constructive dialogue online.
