On Instagram Stories on Monday, May 5, Lotlot shared the letter, where she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Noranians for the love and support they have given to her adoptive mother.
“To all the NORANIANS,
Mula noon hanggang ngayon hindi nyo iniiwan si Mommy. Taos puso at wagas na pasasalamat po sa Inyo. Thank you po sa pagmamahal at supporta nyo kay mommy that you also have passed down to us her children.”

She went on to reiterate her and her siblings’ love for the late Superstar of Philippine cinema’s supporters.
“Mula sa aming magkakapatid,
lan, Matet, Kiko, Ken at sa akin at sa aming mga anak. Mahal po namin kayo!”
Lotlot concluded her letter with an earnest closing message that read, “God bless all of you and thank you! Nagmamahal, Lot.”

Nora Aunor was a celebrated Filipino actress, singer, and producer. Known as the 'Superstar of Philippine cinema, she has earned critical acclaim for her powerful performances in films such as Himala, Bona, and The Flor Contemplacion Story. Her contributions to the arts were recognized in 2022 when she was named National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts. In 1975, Nora married fellow actor Christopher de Leon. They have one biological son, Ian de Leon, and adopted four children: Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon.

On Tuesday, April 29, Lotlot published an old photo showing her with the late Philippine entertainment icons. In the throwback pic, Nora and Pilita seemed to be singing together onstage. Along with the heartwarming photo, Lotlot wrote an affectionate message to her adoptive mother and her former mother-in-law. Janine Gutierrez later left a sweet remark in the comments section of her mom’s post.
Earlier, Nadia Montenegro penned a brave yet heartfelt message to Lotlot de Leon, who is mourning the passing of her adoptive mother, Nora Aunor. In a lengthy Instagram post published on Friday, April 25, Nadia shared an emotional photo showing her and Lotlot warmly hugging each other. Along with the heartwarming snap, Nadia expressed how much she’s willing to protect her best friend. Nadia also praised Lotlot for being still despite the criticisms she has been receiving.
