Yasmien Kurdi and Rey Soldevilla Jr.’s youngest daughter, Raya Layla, has just turned one year old today, April 28.

On her little one’s special day, Yasmien took to her Instagram page to post her heartfelt message for the birthday girl.
“Today, we celebrate you, Raya Layla, our family’s third dragon in the family, a beautiful green wood dragon. Just like Raya from ‘Raya and the Last Dragon,’ you embody strength and bravery,” Yasmien wrote.
The Kapuso star went on to express her birthday wish for her baby girl.

Yasmien Kurdi is a Filipina actress, singer-songwriter, and commercial model. She rose to popularity after joining and being the first runner-up on the first season of Starstruck, a reality-based talent search show by GMA Network. She graduated with Latin honors in AB Political Science from Arellano University. She is married to a pilot, and they now have two daughters, Ayesha and Raya Layla.

Ayesha will be attending her homeschool classes under the Seibo College Foundation. The actress then proceeded to thank a lot of people in her now-viral post on Instagram. Many netizens then expressed their delight over the update, with some giving props to Yasmien and her husband for prioritizing their kid.
Meanwhile, Yasmien took to Instagram Stories and shared several photos taken during her college days. She also encouraged everyone to show or share their college pictures as well. In the photos, Yas could be seen wearing a nursing student uniform. Some photos also showed that she was with her classmates and friends. The actress also revealed where she studied nursing, as well as the school that she subsequently moved to."Yep! Sa NEU ko kinuha nursing ko... then lumipat ako sa GCIC miss ko na mga classmates and mga CI ko jan!" she shared.
