Michael V is among the many celebrities who paid their heartfelt tributes to Pilita Corrales, who passed away at the age of 85.

Bitoy did a stunning sketch of the late Asia’s Queen of Songs to honor her.

The ‘Bubble Gang’ and ‘Pepito Manaloto’ star took to his Instagram page, @michaelbitoy, to share the sketch with his numerous followers.

“PILITA,” the Kapuso Comedy Genius simply wrote in the caption.

It is worth noting that on Saturday, April 12, Janine Gutierrez announced the unfortunate news about her beloved grandmother.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mami and mamita, Pilita Corrales.”

“Pilita touched the lives of many, not only with her songs but also with her kindness and generosity. She will be remembered for her contributions to the entertainment industry, but most of all for her love of life and family.”

The Kapamilya actress likewise asked the public to “join us with your prayers and kind thoughts as we celebrate her beautiful life.”

Michael V. also known as Bitoy, is a popular Pinoy, recording artist, impersonator, and one of the most acclaimed male actors and comedians in the Philippines. In 2013, he won Best Comedy Actor at the prestigious PMPC Star Awards for Television. He can be regularly seen in GMA-7 shows, such as “Pepito Manaloto” and “Bubble Gang.”

On his Instagram page, Janno shared a clip from their music video for “Kapantay Ay Langit,” which was also Pilita’s first-ever music video in her career. In the caption, Janno wrote a heartfelt tribute to the late veteran singer-actress. He began his earnest caption by wishing Pilita’s soul an eternal peace. The singer-actor also affectionately expressed, “Love you Tapilits. Your voice stayed golden till the end.”

In another report by KAMI, Jericho Rosales paid tribute to the late Pilita Corrales, his girlfriend Janine Gutierrez’s grandmother. In an Instagram post, Jericho wrote a heartfelt message to the bereaved family. He expressed how much he felt honored to have met the Asia’s Queen of Songs. The actor also shared a video of his mother singing Pilita’s “Ang Pipit.” According to Jericho, Pilita is the most beloved singer of his mother.
