Ruffa Gutierrez posted a touching message on Instagram to honor the late Pilita Corrales, who passed away recently.

In her post, Ruffa shared several old photos that showed her moments with Pilita, including one with Ciara Sotto.

She likewise shared another showing Pilita with Eddie Gutierrez and their son, Monching.

Along with the photos, Ruffa wrote a simple but heartfelt message:

"Thank you for the love, laughter, and music, Tita Pilita. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest in paradise, Tita. We love you so much."

She also mentioned a special memory from 2023 when Pilita guested on M.O.M.S., a talk show Ruffa hosts.

She described that episode as a “cherished moment with a true icon.”

Moreover, Ruffa's post also received touching comments from netizens.

Eddie and Pilita had a relationship in the past, and their son Monching grew up to be an actor, just like his parents.

Monching is also the father of actress Janine Gutierrez, who announced Pilita’s passing on social media, saying, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mami and mamita, Pilita Corrales.”

Pilita also starred in her own TV show, Your Evening with Pilita, which became a hit in the 1960s and 1970s. Later in her career, she was a judge on shows like The X Factor Philippines, mentoring talents.
