On Instagram's Threads, Rica responded to the inquiry, stating that she understands why people are curious about their lifestyle, and why it is important to question and raise transparency also.
DAPAT TALAGANG URIRATIN YUNG LIFESTYLE NUNG PASTOR NIYO AT ANG RELATIONSHIP NITO SA KABAN NG SIMBAHAN," Rica wrote.

She went on to discuss the importance of accountability, pointing out that religious institutions—regardless of denomination—should be transparent about how they handle their finances too.
Basta religion, not taxed and all pa yan ha, san ba talaga napupunta yung bigay ng mga tao? Tama lang ba? Sobra? Kulang?" the former actress added.
By the end of her post, Rica emphasized that honesty is key and that organizations with nothing to hide should not have difficulty answering financial questions raised by their members too.
Nakaka-offend lang talaga yan sa tao or org na may itatago," she wrote, with netizens rallying behind her.
Her bold statements gained traction online, with many netizens commending her for speaking openly about a sensitive yet significant issue on her platforms on several social media sites.
