During an appearance on the talk show “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the actress candidly discussed with Tito Boy how her parents' separation shaped her early views on relationships.
“So parang for a long time, naiisip ko na nothing talaga lasts forever,” she explained, expressing a belief that enduring partnerships in today's world were unrealistic.

She elaborated on how childhood experiences can solidify into justifications for certain beliefs as one matures.
“And so, I just felt like masyado siyang asking too much na to have just that one person for the rest of your life,” Rhian said during the interview.
However, her encounter with Sam Versoza has challenged this mindset. She expressed a desire for his constant companionship and conversation.
“Siguro kasi now naiisip ko and the more I get to know him, [Sam] talagang every day I learn something new, I experience something new, and I'm never ever bored because kakaiba eh. I've never met anyone talaga like this,” Rhian shared.
She described her multifaceted perception of Verzosa, seeing him at times as a mentor and at others as someone she wishes to nurture.
Rhian emphasized the equal nature of their partnership, noting the "so much respect and trust" she receives from Sam.
