Ashley Ortega and AC Bonifacio, in a dramatic turn of events inside the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house, became the first pair to be evicted from the ongoing season, which stirred online buzz.

The duo, known as ACLEY inside the house, received the lowest percentage of votes to save, leading to their exit on Saturday, March 29, with their exit making headlines on several platforms.

Ashley and AC were nominated alongside two other pairs inside the house—Ralph de Leon and Michael Sager, and Will Ashley and River Joseph, with Ralph-Michael taking the highest votes.

However, according to GMA News' report, it was the Ashley-AC tandem that fell short in the voting, garnering only 17.25% of the total votes, sealing their fate as the first evictees of the season.

Following their elimination, ABS-CBN took to social media to acknowledge their journey inside Kuya's house, with the post earning several likes and reposts from fans of the reality show.

On X (formerly Twitter), they posted a heartfelt message: "Salamat sa inyong pagiging matatag at pagbibigay ng inspirasyon sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, Ashley at AC. Welcome back to the outside world, ACLEY! #PBBCollab1stDuoEviction."

Fans of both Ashley Ortega and AC Bonifacio expressed their disappointment over the eviction.

"Sana may twist na we can vote who we want back sa house," one netizen suggested while a fan of the show also said, "Grabe, wish ko pa sana makita si Ash and her interaction with the others."

Despite their short stay, both Ashley and AC have undoubtedly left a mark in this season of PBB.

Prior her eviction, Ashley made headlines when she expressed her desire and hopes to reconcile with her mother, in one of ABS-CBN News' earlier report about the housemates inside the house.

Meanwhile, Darren Espanto, one of AC's closest friends, also spoke up about the criticisms the actress has been getting as a housemate, according to one of the reports done by LionhearTV.

Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) is the Philippine version of the international reality TV franchise Big Brother, which originated in the Netherlands. The show follows a group of contestants, known as housemates, who live together in a specially designed house under constant surveillance. They must complete challenges, form alliances, and avoid weekly eliminations, where viewers and sometimes fellow housemates vote out contestants until a final winner emerges.

Meanwhile, Mavy Legaspi got the opportunity to become a 'housemate.' On Instagram, Mavy reflected on his time as a "host-mate" at the Pinoy Big Brother house. According to the actor, he even got emotional at one point as he had to leave the housemates. In his post, Mavy even said, "I can't wait for you guys to get to know the housemates even more."
