Ronnie Liang just unlocked another milestone! He took to social media to reveal that he recently earned a doctorate degree.

On his social media pages, the “Ngiti” hitmaker posted his stunning graduation photo and wrote a lengthy yet inspirational caption.
“Another Dream Achieved: Doctorate Degree”
“My heart is full of gratitude and happiness today. I have achieved my Ph.D. in Development Administration, major in Security Development Administration, at PCU,” he announced.

Liang went on to tackle his strong belief in education and his inspiring journey.
”For me, this is not just about earning another title or degree, but it’s about my strong belief in the value and power of higher education. There were moments I wanted to give up, but knowing how this journey could inspire others, especially the young generation, kept me going.”
The singer, actor and Army reservist then discussed his motivation–which extends beyond politics and personal ambition.
“I have often been asked if my motivation is political and if I would run and enter politics, and I would jokingly say, “Yes, for President.” However, kidding aside, my drive extends beyond politics and personal ambition. I focus on service and love- not for myself but for others and our country in whatever capacity I can contribute.”
“My aspiration is to have a community that supports each other instead of fighting with each other, a country that stands united, not divided, and a world that lives in peace and not at war.”
He continued, “Whatever this accomplishment is worth, I want to use my education, influence, and voice to inspire others to become more responsible and accountable citizens, more patriotic, more passionate in whatever they do, and finish what they have started, no matter how small the impact may seem to others and regardless of the challenges and naysayers. Take heart! Just keep going!”
Furthermore, Liang wrote a message addressed to his family, friends, mentors, and that has played a part in the journey. He likewise glorified God as he received another blessing.
“To my family—you are my strength. To my friends and mentors—you are my inspiration. And to everyone who has been part of this journey—this achievement is as much yours as it is mine. I could not have done it without you.”

Ronnie Liang is a Filipino singer, actor, and pilot. He is known for his popular single, "Ngiti." He is currently a reservist with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Philippine Army.
Last year, Liang and his team were able to rescue many victims of super typhoon Carina in Quezon City. They helped the stranded residents in Barangay Roxas during a massive flooding. He took to social media to share videos of their rescue operations.
