South Korean singer Choi Wheesung was found dead in his Seoul home at the age of 43.

According to Yonhap, and as shared by Philstar LIfe, Wheesung passed away on March 10, though the exact cause of death remains undetermined.
Authorities confirmed there were no signs of foul play and noted that a significant amount of time had passed since his death, as reported by JoongAng Ilbo.
Emergency responders arrived at his residence at 6:29 p.m. after receiving a call from his mother.

Wheesung was supposed to meet his manager earlier in the day but was unresponsive.
His mother, who lived in the same building, checked on him and immediately contacted emergency services.
His agency, Tajoy Entertainment, confirmed his passing in an official statement.
"He was found in cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced dead," they stated, as per Naver.
"We are so heartbroken to have to deliver this sad news to fans who have sent Wheesung endless support and love. Please pray for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace," the agency added.
"We earnestly ask that you refrain from spreading unconfirmed rumors and speculative reports for the sake of the bereaved family who are in great shock and sorrow."
Wheesung debuted in 2002 with his first solo album Like A Movie and became known for hits like Insomnia, With Me, Even Thought of Marriage, and Heartsore Story.
From 2011 to 2013, he was investigated for using propofol but was later cleared after claiming it was for medical treatment.
However, former TV personality Amy later revealed he took the drug. He was eventually found guilty of habitual use.
Wheesung was scheduled to perform a joint concert with singer KCM on March 15 in Daegu.
