"I recently had a convo with a family member about how some people bili an iPhone but in reality, they make utang just to buy one then ang hirap pa singilin. And tbh, I've been asked so many times (both online and offline) why I don't always get the latest one," Bea began in her post.
According to Bea, her current iPhone 15 was actually sponsored by Globe, and that she had no plans to buy a new one, explaining why.

"I actually had no plans to buy one when it dropped cause my phone back then was still working perfectly fine. I get why people ask, though, cuz I'm a lifestyle creator, and I know a lot of you see my life as magastos/expensive. And yeah, while that's true in some ways, I’m still practical enough to know that I don't need to upgrade just cause there's a new one or spend just to keep up with trends," Bea told her FB followers.
In her post, Bea mentioned that people often forget that 'flexing a luxury lifestyle' would mean nothing if it affects one's financial stability.
"I think people forget that flexing a luxury lifestyle means nothing if it comes at the expense of financial stability. Phones depreciate, but investments, skills, and experiences appreciate over time. Of course, if you can afford it nang hindi ka nasasaktan, go for it!" she had written online.
By the end of her post, Bea further inspired netizens when she talked about keeping her 'condo bills under 1,500 pesos a month' also.
"ALSO, skl can I just say I've been actually keeping my condo bills under 1,500 pesos a month like I don't use the aircon talaga every night," the social media personality confessed in her viral post.
