Vice Ganda was shocked after discovering that one of their contestants was not "knowledgeable" about COMELEC.
This happened during the recently concluded weekly finals of 'Sexy Babe' in their noontime show 'It's Showtime.'

A 20-year-old weekly finalist was asked, "Ano ang mensahe mo sa COMELEC?"
The contestant initially responded by saying, "Sorry po, hindi po ako masyadong knowledgeable about sa COMELEC."
The 'Unkabogable Star' followed-up by asking the contestant, "Ilang taon ka na ba?" To which the girl responded by saying she is 20 years old.
"Oh my gosh! That's bothersome," worriedly said by Vice.
Ganda then said later that COMELEC stands for Commission on Elections which was explained by her co-host, Jhong Hilario.
They also asked if the contestant hasn't heard of the said government agency from the television or social media.
After explaining what COMELEC is, the weekly finalist then proceeded to answer the question which focused on "vote buying."
After the answer, one of the judges, JC De Vera, still showed appreciation in the answer given by the contestant despite not having much knowledge about the said government agency.
In the Philippines, COMELEC stands for the Commission on Elections. It is an independent constitutional commission responsible for overseeing and administering elections, plebiscites, initiatives, referendums, and recalls in the country. COMELEC ensures free, fair, and credible elections by regulating campaign activities, handling voter registration, and resolving election-related disputes.
