“Yes, right away, confirmed,” she said. She recounted her surprise at the story conference, questioning her presence among a cast she initially perceived as younger.
However, the lighthearted atmosphere quickly convinced her to fully embrace the project.
The film boasts a diverse cast, including Karina Bautista, Migs Almendras, Lovely Abello, Benj Manalo, Martin Escudero, and Bernard Palanca, alongside Wilma, Antonio, Kim, and Paulo.
During the interview with MJ Felipe, Wilma hinted at a romantic relationship between Kim and Paulo.
“Sila na!” she whispered. When pressed for more details, Doesnt simply replied, “Sa edad ko ba namang ito, maloloko nyo kong kabataan? Hindi na!”
She elaborated, saying that body language and the way they look at each other are telltale signs, adding with a touch of wistfulness, “Body language, hindi mo na kailangang magsalita. Titignan mo lang 'yung mga tinginan, ganun. Ay sana all.”
The actress also shared her experience working with the lead actors. She jokingly admitted to initially assuming Paulo Avelino was aloof.
“Una nga akala ko si Paulo suplado, kasi di ba 'yung unang dating niya, in-assume ko kilala niya ako, sikat ako eh,” she joked.
“Unang araw kita ko sa kanya, akala ko suplado. Tapos naisip ko ah kasi unang araw baka kinakapa,” Wilma added.
However, Wilma's perception changed after a couple of shooting days.
She described him as being much more relaxed and even shared a humorous anecdote about kissing him on the cheek due to his pleasant scent, apologizing playfully to Kim afterward.
“After ng dalawang shooting days, mas okay na siya. Tapos kiniss ko siya, kasi ang bango niya. Ay sorry, Kim!” she quipped.
In the case of Kim, Wilma had only positive things to say, describing her as fun to work with and energetic.
“Masaya siyang katrabaho. Loka-loka rin siya. Parang nakita ko 'yung kabataan ko sa kanya. Masaya, magaan,” Wilma said.
She emphasized Kim's genuine personality, stating that she wouldn't hesitate to call out any negative behavior if it existed.
“In fairness, kilala mo ako. Magsasalita ako! Dedma sa promo, isuspluk ko talaga 'yan kung masama ugali ni ate. Pero in fairness sa kanya, pati kay Paulo,” Wilma concluded.
The film has completed shooting, and the team is actively promoting its upcoming release.
