On Instagram Stories on Wednesday, February 19, Leon revealed that someone has been using his identity on the messaging app Telegram.
The 21-year-old published screenshots showing the poser’s messages to his friend.

"I am booking kasi pa Japan and my bank got exceeded since I transferred big amount. Nag daily limit," one of the poser’s message reads.
Leon then warned his followers, especially those who have received such messages.
“Hello somebody is posing as me on telegram, this is not me.”
“Again, somebody is posing as me on telegram, if you have received these type of messages; NOT ME,” Leon stressed.
Recently, Dennis received a text message from Leon as he celebrated his 63rd birthday on February 9.
The celebrity dad has taken to his Instagram page to post a screenshot of his son’s message.
As seen in the screenshot, Leon sweetly wished his dad a happy birthday.
“Happy birthday Papa. God bless always - Leon,” the 21-year-old told his father.
The veteran comedian then wrote an affectionate reply, where he invited his child to have dinner with him soon.
“Ty [thank you] anak… love you… dinner tayo soon,” Dennis’ reply reads.
In the caption, the actor also penned his reaction to their heartwarming conversation.
“So happy for this message,” he expressed. He further told his son, “Salamat anak... Love you Leon.”
Leon Barretto's mother, Marjorie Barretto, is a Filipino actress who is the sister of Claudine and Gretchen Barretto. Marjorie has three children with comedian Dennis Padilla — Julia, Claudia, and Leon. Dennis, a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster and actor, already has a different family.
Some months ago, Leon took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt birthday greeting for his sister, Dani Barretto. The 21-year-old described his Ate Dani as the best big sister in the world. He also said that no word could describe how lucky they all are to have her. Leon then said that he has nothing but amazing things to say about his sister.
In April last year, Leon turned 21 years old. He took to social media and shared glimpses of how he marked his birthday. On Instagram, Leon shared a carousel of photos and clips showing him celebrating his special day with his friends. In the caption, he also expressed gratitude for the love and the birthday greetings he received from people. “Grateful for yesterday… thank u for the love and bday greetings,” he wrote.
