The actress began her story with a touch of playful exasperation.

“Noong time na 'yung wedding namin, naiwan niya 'yung singsing. So, buwisit na buwisit ako. Siyempre, 'yung hormones ng pregnant woman, talagang galit ako,” Jennylyn shared with a laugh.

Dennis, also present on the show, chimed in, recalling the incident with a sheepish grin.

“Pero 'yung bahay po namin malapit lang, mga five minutes away. Nakalimutan mo pa rin,” Dennis said, joining in the laughter.

Jennylyn further explained the situation, emphasizing the clarity of her instructions.

“Sinabihan ko siya na, sobrang specific ng instruction ko, ‘Kunin mo 'yung ring, nandito sa bag ko, eto 'yung color ng box’,” the actress recounted.

Dennis, however, offered a slightly different perspective.

“Dalawa po 'yung box, 'yung isa walang laman. 'Yun 'yung nakuha ko, 'yun 'yung nadampot ko,” the actor countered.

This detail adds a layer of lighthearted confusion to the story, showcasing how easily such a crucial detail could be overlooked amidst the wedding day bustle.

The actress then playfully recalled her reaction at the time.

“Ang sabi ko sa kaniya ‘Paano kung sa Tagaytay tayo kinasal? Paano mo kukunin sa Quezon City?’” she recalled angrily explaining to Dennis the situation, highlighting the slight panic and frustration she felt in the moment.

Jennylyn Mercado, nagduda noon alok na kasal ni Dennis: “Dahil ba buntis ako kaya papakasalan?”

Dennis, ever the smooth talker, attempted to downplay the mishap with a touch of romance.

“Pero ang totoo Tito Boy, may singsing man o wala, kaya pa rin... Kahit na alambre lang 'yan na mapulot mo kung saan, simbolo lang 'yan ng pagmamahal na ibibigay ko sa kaniya,” the actor said.

Tito Boy, amused by the story, couldn't resist teasing Dennis.

“Dennis, nakalimutan mo pa rin,” Tito Boy joked.

Jennylyn admitted that her annoyance lingered as she walked down the aisle. However, Dennis once again put a positive spin on the situation.

“At least unforgettable 'yung experience. Hindi 'yung pangkaraniwan na perfect,” Dennis said.

The real moment of truth came when the priest asked for the rings.

“Nandoon na kami. Hinihingi na ni Father 'yung singsing. Asan 'yung ring? Tapos binigay 'yung box, walang laman,” Jennylyn recalled.

Dennis confessed that he turned pale with embarrassment at that moment. Their driver had to be sent back to retrieve the rings, adding another comedic layer to the tale.
