The Philippines’ bet, Dia Maté, just bagged the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 crown! She won the title during the pageant’s coronation night in Bolivia on Monday, February 10 (Manila time).

Dia bested over 20 contestants from countries with Hispanic influence. She is the second Pinay to win the title.
It can be recalled that in 2017, Teresita Ssen Marquez, also known as Winwyn Marquez, won the first Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Dia's boyfriend, JK Labajo, took to social media to react to her win.
On Instagram Stories, the singer-songwriter shared Dia’s post containing a photo of herself wearing her stunning evening gown designed by Rian Fernandez.
In the on-screen caption, the proud boyfriend penned a congratulatory message to the beauty queen, whom he affectionately called “baby.”
“Congratulations baby!” JK wrote along with Philippine flag emojis.

Months ago, JK's sweet post dedicated to beauty queen Dia created a huge buzz on social media. In his post, he proudly congratulated Dia, who was crowned Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas at the recently concluded Miss World Philippines.
"I have seen how you've gone through all the challenges and difficulties of the pageantry world with grace and elegance and I couldn't be any prouder. You have been my queen since day one and the only difference now is that you're wearing the crown that you so deserve."
"This is just the beginning. To my sweet baby with the kindest heart and a smile that lights up my world, congratulations! I love you," he affectionately wrote.

Dia later took to Instagram Stories and shared the singer-songwriter's post. She also penned a short yet sweet on-screen caption addressed to JK.
"My love," Dia endearingly wrote alongside a heart emoji.
Juan Karlos Labajo, also known as JK Labajo, is a singer-composer and the frontman of a band that carries his own name, Juan Karlos. He rose to fame after becoming one of the top contenders in the popular talent competition "The Voice Kids Philippines" in 2014. He placed third in the said contest, just right behind Darren Espanto and Lyca Gairanod. After The Voice, JK appeared in various shows and flicks on TV. Aside from his acting career, JK is also known as the voice and creator of the songs 'Buwan' and 'Ere.'
Last year, JK, in an interview, recalled the time he reached out to his biological German dad. Previously, JK was invited by Ogie Diaz for a much-needed one-on-one interview. There, JK recalled how he got the number of his biological dad, contacting him on WhatsApp. However, what his father did afterward stunned the famous actor-singer afterward.
