- Jake Ejercito, in a recent post on social media, proudly flexed the comments made by many Iloilo City residents about his visit there

- It can be recalled that Jake recently went to the “City of Love” to take part in the city’s IloIlo Marathon 2025 as part of its annual Dinagyang Festival celebration

Jake Ejercito, in a recent post on Facebook, proudly flexed the comments written by many Iloilo City residents about his visit there.

In a caption to his post, the actor pointed out his connection to Iloilo.

“✨ that Iloilo x Uno langga connection ✨,” Jake wrote in his caption.

In the photo that he shared with his post, he copy-pasted several lovely comments made by Ilonggos, many of them inviting him to go back to their place.

“I appreciate the gesture of speaking and learning the language in an endearing manner. That was the ultimate charmer, in addition to everything good and nice about you,” wrote one Iloilo netizen.
“You're always welcome here in Iloilo. Balik-balik lang langga ah,” another netizen wrote, which included an Ilonggo phrase that meant “please return when you can, beloved.”
“Truth be told, the "Langga notes" we all got from you online this weekend were quite uplifting! Thanks for the good vibes and for the effort to learn our language. (Literally the "love" language.) Balik balik ka diri kay welcome ka sa city of love,” wrote another Iloilo netizen, also asking Jake in Ilonggo to return to the place anytime.
“Para sa amon nga mga Ilonggo, indi ka ikaduha, ikatatlo, ikaapat, kundi ikaw gd ang numero "UNO" sa amon tagi pusuon Jake Ejercito,” says yet another netizen, which in English mean “for us Ilonggos, you’re not the second, third, nor fourth, but you’re always the number “UNO” in our hearts, Jake Ejercito.”

“Sa Iloilo ka na lang istar langga,” another netizen wrote, imploring Jake to please take up residence in Iloilo permanently.
“Ang palangga sang iloilo,” says yet another netizen, which in English means “the beloved of Iloilo.”

It can be recalled that Jake made some humorous posts about going to a particular place in Iloilo City to wait for his “langga,” as well as getting very sad the morning after because he wasn’t able to be with his “langga.”

These posts appealed well to netizens, most of them from Iloilo and the Visayas region, prompting many of them to write humorous replies to Jake’s posts.

The actor’s “langga” posts have since then gone viral, and endeared him much to Iloilo residents and natives.

Jake Ejercito is a Filipino actor who has starred in several shows and movies such as Marry Me, Marry You, Mansyon, and Coming Home. He was born on March 27, 1990, to actress Laarni Enriquez and actor-turned-politician former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada. He is also known for being the father of Ellie, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann.

Recently, Jake also posted a screenshot of his recent chat with his daughter, Ellie, on his Facebook page. The post was humorously captioned, "As if she ran for 21km too #JEllieConvos #RunUno." The screenshot shows their adorable, which shows their admirable bond. Netizens loved the conversation between the two, which is evident in the comments section of Jake's post.

He also previously proudly flexed his marathon photos taken at Iloilo City. The actor recently went to Iloilo to take part in the IloIlo Marathon 2025. The said event is the official marathon event of Dinagyang, an annual celebration at the “City of Love.” Jake said after a slight glitch he was able to finish 22.7 kilometers in 2 hours.
