Andrea Brillantes got real about insecurities in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

The actress admitted that she is not perfect and also shared with viewers how she deals with insecurities.

“Kunyari, iba yung insecurity talaga sa outside mo eh, and hindi ako perfect, walang perfect, may mga days na hindi ako ganun ka pretty. May mga days na nagbe-breakout ako like ngayon, meron akong sister dyan, pero it's all about perspective eh. It's all about your mindset talaga,” Andrea said.

“Worth it ba na magiging insecure ako over this thing? Worth it ba na mag-depend ako sa mood ko, magiging insecure ako, masisira na buong araw ko,” she added.”

“Pero yes, normal lang na ma-insecure, normal na may good days and bad days ka,” Andrea admitted

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who rose to fame as a child star. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of Marga in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.” Along with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin, Andrea was a member of The Gold Squad. Andrea was in a romantic relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero until their breakup around June 2023.

In an interview on ‘ASAP,’ the actress gave a courageous statement about her innate beauty. She expressed her belief that the Lord blessed her with a beautiful face because she would go through a lot in life. The said video gained thousands of comments and views, which included praises about how cool Andrea’s reaction was to the situation.
