The celebrity couple welcomed a healthy baby girl named Alynna.
On Thursday, January 9, Alex took to Instagram to announce the great news.
“Thank you Papa God. Welcome to the world my Unica Hija, Alynna,” the celebrity dad elatedly wrote.

Sunshine Garcia is a Filipina dancer and actress. She is a former member of the dance group, SexBomb Girls from 2002 to 2013. She also appeared in several television series such as Encantandia, Magic Kamison, and Daisy Siete. She married actor-turned-politician Alex Castro.
In 2021, Sunshine gave birth to her and Alex’s second child. The celebrity couple took to their respective social media pages to share the good news. The former SexBomb dancer and the actor named their baby Alexander. Prominent personalities like Jhong Hilario, Aiko Melendez and Chynna Ortalez then congratulated the couple.
Sunshine was asked by KAMI about her advice for couples going through conflicts and misunderstandings. The former Sexbomb dancer said that open communication is the key to resolving conflicts in a relationship. She also advised couples – especially those with children already – to go through marriage counseling if they are having trouble fixing their issues. However, Sunshine said that a partner who makes mistakes should avoid making the same errors in the future.
