Karla Estrada, a Filipina actress and TV host, talked about her son, Daniel Padilla, and even addressed the topic of his love life.

In Bandera's report, Karla said her son is still very much single after his breakup with Kathryn Bernardo back in November 2023.

Previously, Karla attended the media conference of Incognito which Daniel is a part of alongside other big names in show business.

"Nandito ako for the entire cast of Incognito. Support syempre natin sa bagong palabas especially sa anak ko," Karla told the media.

While being interviewed, Karla was asked what Daniel busied himself with after the breakup.

"Well, alam mo iyan, hindi naman mapakali sa buhay niya. Ang dami niyang negosyong binuksan, diba? And workshop. Hindi siya naglubay para kapag dumating yung mga ganitong pagkakataon, ready ka. So, ready siya. Tsaka abangan natin yung malaking pelikula niya next year. Action din," Karla told everyone.

However, Karla also mentioned her all-out support for her son back in the day in terms of love life.

"Alam mo, ang nanay ang unang nalulungkot kapag malungkot ang mga anak. Kapag may pinagdadaanan ang mga anak, mas gusto mo kunin na lang ang mga pinagdadanaan nila. Pero tuturuan din natin ang mga anak natin na bumangon mag-isa because it’s not gonna be forever na kasama natin sila," she explained.

In an old article by ABS-CBN, they reported that Kathryn and Daniel confirmed their breakup.

Despite their breakup, Daniel mentioned Kathryn during his renewal of contract with ABS-CBN, as reported by Manila Standard in February.
