In the caption of the said screenshot, one can read about Derek allegedly being “arrested.”
“Confirmed: Charges against Derek Ramsay are true! This marks a shocking turn of events for the actor,” the screaming headlines on the screenshot shared by the actor reads.
Below it is a one line sub-title that read: “A sad day for Philippines.”
However, the actor wasn’t perturbed as the screenshot he shared indeed gave away indications of a fake news, beginning with the uniformed personnel whose attire doesn’t look anywhere near that of a PNP of AFP.
To show he doesn’t believe such posts, Derek added a humorous caption below the screenshot he shared, though also called it out as fake.
“Grabe talaga ang fake news! Ingat pulis ako!!” Derek said in his post.
