Chito Miranda, a famous OPM singer, has finally addressed the arrest of his wife, Neri Naig-Miranda, over securities violation and estafa.

Following this news, on November 27, Wednesday, Chito released a lengthy statement on IG about the issues his wife is currently facing this year.

On his Instagram page, @chitomirandajr, the singer said his wife never fooled anyone and that she has never taken or borrowed money from anyone.

"Praying na ma-sort out na ang lahat ng 'to... kawawa naman yung asawa ko. Never nanloko si Neri, at never sya nanlamang sa kapwa. Never siyang kumuha or nanghingi ng pera kahit kanino man. Alam ng lahat yan. Tulong lang sya ng tulong hangga't kaya niya. Minsan kahit di na nakakabuti sa kanya," Chito began in his viral post.

Halfway through his post, Chito said that sometimes Neri is the one being abused when it comes to money but that the latter just leaves it to God.

"Kadalasan nga, naaabuso na siya pero hinahayaan niya nalang, basta wala siyang ginawang masama. Pinapa sa Diyos niya na lang," he said.

Chito Miranda is a famous music artist known as the frontman of the iconic OPM band Parokya Ni Edgar. On December 13, 2014, he married Neri Naig, an actress and entrepreneur in the Philippines. They have an adorable firstborn named Miggy. In October 2021, Neri gave birth to their second child, Manuel Alfonso Miranda, whose nickname is Cash.
