Chito Miranda, an OPM singer-songwriter, recently penned a meaningful post about real success, which inspired many of his fans online.

On Sunday, May 26, Chito took to his Instagram, @chitomirandajr, to upload a picture he took with his son, Cash, while they were swimming.

He then proceeded to discuss what real success means in his now-viral online post, saying it is not about making the most money possible.

"I think real success is having enough to pay for everything that you need, and having enough left to buy a few things that you want, and having more than enough time to enjoy the fruits of your hardwork. It's not just about making the most money possible. Madami ka ngang pera pero kung stressed at unhealthy ka naman, or wala ka namang free time to enjoy it with your family or loved-ones (or even yourself), eh di parang wala rin," Chito said.

After countless sacrifices in life, Chito said he feels as if he already attained a successful life.

"Para sa akin, having time for my kids, isn't a sign of failure....not for me, nor my wife. Sa kantunayan, I think sign yun na naabot ko na yung gusto kong abutin sa buhay: yung tipong ginagawa ko nalang yung trip ko sa buhay kasama ng pamilya ko without worrying how to provide for them. This, for me is success...eto ang tunay na rakenrol lifestyle," he wrote.

Chito Miranda is a famous music artist known as the frontman of the iconic OPM band Parokya Ni Edgar. On December 13, 2014, he married Neri Naig, an actress and entrepreneur in the Philippines. They have an adorable firstborn named Miggy. In October 2021, Neri gave birth to their second child, Manuel Alfonso Miranda, whose nickname is Cash.

For the party, Chito and Neri Naig held a Nerf-themed birthday party for their son. Needless to say, Miggy and their guests had tons of fun, as Chito said in his online post.
