John Wayne Sace is in danger of facing jail time after police authorities filed murder charges against him.

In a report by GMA News, police authorities have finally filed an official complaint, charging John Wayne with the murder of Lynell Eugenio.

Lynell, who is allegedly a former friend of John Wayne, was killed in an alleyway somewhere in Pasig.

According to witnesses, they say Lynell walking down the alley, after which they heard four gunshots.

The victim’s lifeless body was then found by witnesses lying prostrate on the ground.

Hours after the shooting, the actor made a post on Facebook, which supposedly helped authorities establish his location.

John Wayne Sace started as a child actor under ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and joined the popular ASAP boy group AnimE alongside stars like Rayver Cruz. Sace acted in several soap operas but stepped back from the spotlight in the 2010s. He returned in 2021 with a role in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. In 2016, Sace was injured in a shooting incident where his friend was killed. Both were reportedly on the police's drug watch list due to alleged involvement in illegal substance.

A recent post of John Wayne on Facebook a day before he allegedly shot and killed a man named Lynell Eugenio has created a stir on social media. It can be recalled that the actor supposedly shot the victim in an alley in a location in Pasig. In the actor’s post one day before allegedly committing the gruesome crime, he posted “Alam ko plano mo. Mapapanaginipan din kita.” He did not name the person, nor give any indication as to his identity, in this particular post.

It can be recalled that the former child star was arrested by Pasig Police for allegedly shooting his former friend. According to the authorities, they gathered an important lead as to where Sace was hiding when he made a Facebook post. He posted a photo of him with a noticeable background, it showed a wall of a certain hotel in the same city. Later on, police undercover went to the hotel, where they were able to nab Sace.
