Direk Erik Matti took to social media to question Cassandra Li Ong’s appearance during a recent Senate hearing.

On Tuesday, Alice Guo’s alleged business associate finally faced a Senate inquiry on the dismissed Bamban mayor’s ties to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators.

On his Instagram account, the director took offense at how she was able to curl and color her hair while being detained. He also noted that Cassandra was supposed to have just gotten out from the hospital.

“Anaknang! Di ba naka detain ito sa Congress up to now? And kalalabas lang ng ospital? Paano nangyari at nakapagpakulay at nagpakulot pa?!!!”

The filmmaker also frankly asked, “At saan niya ginawa yan? Sa loob ng Congress? Home service?!!!”

In the comments section, Rica Peralejo could not help but leave a comment on the seasoned director’s post.

“Mas fresh pa sya saken. Anong nangyare?” the celebrity mom wondered.

Rica's comment later received a like from Direk Erik.

Rica Peralejo is an actress who used to be a cast member of “Ang TV.” The former actress is now married to a Christian pastor named Joseph Bonifacio. They have two children, Philip Nathaniel and Manu.

Rica Peralejo recently called out Christians who were offended by a segment of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony. The said segment drew flak after many believed it was a mockery of “The Last Supper.” As per Rica, no matter how much she looked at the controversial tableau, “Hindi naman Last Supper yung efek sakin.” She also questioned why many Christians were outraged by the performance.

Rica Peralejo shared a funny story about how a server thought that Manu, her son was a street kid. The server asked them if the kid was with them, thinking perhaps that he may be a street kid disturbing them. She then showed a photo of Manu who was wearing Birks slippers with a stick. Rica then showed that three of them were wearing Crocs slippers, and Manu was the one in Birks.
